Next time I pass through Dunapataj, I'll be back for an afternoon coffee. The staff are really friendly, and the coffee or cappuccino is worth stopping for.

We were happy with our stay, though the dinner arrangement took some figuring out. The first evening we ordered at the restaurant and waited over an hour. They don't cook there, it seems, and the food is brought over by a delivery person from a neighboring town. The next day we ordered earlier, for 8 pm, and when it arrived they called us so we could go eat at the restaurant. The room itself was surprisingly nice, spacious, well equipped, and had a comfortable bed. The one thing missing was a kitchen.

The TV only gets Hungarian channels, so satellite TV or internet access to other languages would be a nice improvement. Apart from that, the hotel feels perfect. I was in Hungary to finalize a business deal, and the guesthouse is fantastic. The whole building, rooms and grounds included, is very well looked after, with great attention to detail in the furnishings. I can easily give it 5 stars. Thanks for the lovely accommodation. Regards, Frank Zehmisch
