Herbstyle Minihotel

The hotel is only a few minutes from the main square, with lots of restaurants nearby. My favorites were HBH and Macok Bistro. The husband-and-wife owners were very friendly and excellent hosts. Breakfast had everything you could think of and more, so you won't go hungry. The WiFi was excellent too, and the area is very quiet.

The room was very large, clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view. The hosts were attentive, adjusted breakfast to suit our needs, and shared tips for places to visit outside Eger. The hotel is very close to the old center, but the area itself is quiet. Parking is available, though a bit far away. We'd booked a “Family Room with Private Bathroom” and were surprised that the bathroom was across the hall from the bedroom. We were told it was for our exclusive use, and given a key, though anyone could access it. A surveillance camera overlooks the public hall we had to cross whenever we used the bathroom or took a shower. There were two kinds of shades, but morning sunlight still came in even with both closed.

The hosts are incredibly kind and clearly put their hearts into their work. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty, and different each day. The accommodation is stylish, clean, and comfortable, right in the heart of Eger, with private parking in a quiet area. We'll definitely stay here next time we're in the area!

The owner was warm, always smiling, and helpful, and breakfast was both generous and delicious. Rooms were neat and clean. Herbstyle is right by the main square, with plenty of restaurants and tourist attractions nearby. I definitely recommend staying here. It feels like home :)
