The comfortable bed and the location were the only real positives for me. My room was slanted, with a small window, and it needed a proper clean. I even found nails on the floor. The bathroom looked like it was from the 80s and badly needed renovating. Breakfast was disappointing too. The room for it was tiny, the selection was poor, and cold cuts or vegetables were often missing. There wasn't any fruit even once, and staff were slow to refill the food. I don't think I'd stay here again.

We really liked the "édes lányom" wine as a dessert wine. And the chicken soup was the best I've had in ages 🤩

I arrived at 5:30 PM to check in, expecting reception to still be open until 6 PM as the booking platform said. The doors were locked and no one was there. When I called, the person who answered just kept saying reception was already closed that day. They gave me no useful details, help or solution, and didn't even apologize. After a long day, I was left outside a closed door. I called three more times and nobody picked up. It was an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience, and the response felt rude. Luckily, there are plenty of other places in Eger.

We waited an hour for the Caesar salad, which was mostly plain leaves topped with overfried chicken. The soups were okay, nothing special. Service was extremely slow, and the table's orders got mixed up too. One person received their meal a full 30 minutes after everyone else.

I haven't stayed here, and after this experience I wouldn't consider it. They took more than two weeks to answer my question, and replied in Hungarian. I'm a foreigner and work in tourism, so I feel they should know and respect that I don't speak Hungarian. The customer service was very poor.
