The pool and jacuzzi were available whenever we wanted, and it was about a seven-minute walk to the beach. We also had separate towels for using indoors and around the pool, plus toiletries and coffee capsules for the terrace. The room was clean and had everything we needed, and the grounds were peaceful. We stayed for three days. The owners were kind and helpful, gave us a map of places to visit, and answered all our questions. For my birthday, my boyfriend asked them to arrange flowers in the room, and they happily did it. A lovely gesture, and I’m grateful to them for it. We’d seen some negative reviews and felt a bit unsure, but our stay went smoothly with no problems. We’d recommend it for a quiet, comfortable break.

The accommodation itself was lovely when we stayed last year. This year, we asked about returning and were told it wasn’t available. A few weeks later, though, we got another email saying it was available and that they were looking forward to having us back. We assumed there had been a cancellation and were glad to accept. When nobody replied to our acceptance, I called and was told we’d never had a reservation. The owner suggested I hadn’t emailed and had never booked. It’s a ridiculous, very unprofessional way to run a business. They don’t seem to know who has a booking. If you reserve here, check that it really exists or you could be disappointed when you arrive. I never got an apology. The owner told me to take it up with his son. They should sort things out between themselves, since they wasted a lot of my time.

The place was spotless, with lovely hosts and really good facilities, including a jacuzzi. Just a few steps from Lake Balaton, too.

The rooms were spotless, and the owners were kind and always ready to help. Warm rolls and a sweet treat were waiting for us each morning. The lake is only a few minutes away, with restaurants and ice cream shops nearby. Great accommodation in a perfect spot, I’d happily recommend it! ♥️
