There was so much to choose from, and the food was exquisite. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly. I need to come back once a year.

The Wi-Fi signal was weak, though the internet speed itself was good. Everything else set a high bar: the location and views were the best we’ve had in this country, and the design and quality were carefully done throughout. Great kitchen and buffet, lovely hospitality, and plenty of services to choose from, even on rainy days. It costs a bit more, but we felt it was worth it.

We spent a day at the spa on 20 February and had a fantastic time. It’s spread over three floors, thoughtfully laid out, with lots of space and beds to relax on between swimming, sauna sessions, plunges, and time in the salt rooms. The staff were helpful and polite. There are saunas at different temperatures, red light, a salt relaxation room, cold plunges, and hot jacuzzis, so it felt very invigorating. The best part was the Sauna Ceremonies. Zoltan and Istvan led us through increasingly intense experiences themed around the Forest, Italy, and Russia. We felt superb afterward. I’ll definitely book again, and I’m determined to try the Viking Sauna Ceremony that so many people have raved about. Excellent, and highly recommended.

I have trouble walking and use a stick, so I couldn’t manage the pools comfortably. The indoor pool floors were very slippery when wet, even with staff constantly cleaning them. The outdoor infinity pool looked tempting, but there were no handrails by the steps, so I didn’t feel confident getting in. I wish pool designers would consider people with limited mobility. My wife did enjoy the pool, though. We’d wanted to visit for years because we’d seen the view of Mt Kekes on television back in England during the Tour of Hungary cycling race. The view from our balcony was outstanding, and we had a lovely room. The bathroom floor was dangerously slippery too, so be sure to wear flip flops when it’s wet. The attractive restaurant had great views and good food, and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed chatting about cricket and Asian cuisine with Sri Lankan bar staff, especially Philip and Dinesh. We enjoyed our stay at Ozon.
