Balaca Panzio

The place was spotless, cleaner than almost anywhere I've stayed. Rooms are roomy and have what you need, with comfortable beds, and there's a big outdoor area to sit in. Breakfast is simple but generous, with eggs cooked fresh if you ask. Staff are friendly; some speak English and others German. It's a little outside the center but still walkable, with good restaurants nearby and free parking. I got there easily from the train station on a Lime electric scooter.

Getting around the area by bike was great. The place is tucked away from the main roads, so it's really quiet and you can sleep with the doors open. The rooms are spacious, with roomy balconies, and everything was super clean and relaxed.

The basic breakfast was fine, and the fridge and glasses were good. I did wonder about the water, though, and a hairdryer would be useful, even if you had to ask reception for one. I slept well in this very quiet place by the cemetery.

The staff were really helpful. The location is central but still quiet at night, and my room and bathroom were both clean and spacious.
