Blue Villa Appartement House

We booked two rooms, one for my wife and me and one for our son and his girlfriend, both over 22. When we arrived, the hosts said they’d read the Booking. Com reservation as one room, even though the confirmation showed two and the second was apparently a few lines lower. They put us in accommodation that might just about suit a family with two children under ten. They said they’d make reasonable adjustments the next day, but we were only staying one night. My wife and I slept on a small, extremely uncomfortable sofa bed, with a mattress possibly no more than 1 inch thick, in what seemed to be a sitting area by the kitchen. We both had a terrible night and woke early with back pain. We also had to walk through our son’s room to get to the bathroom. At checkout, they first offered €15 off, then raised it to €20, €25, and finally €36. We reluctantly accepted after they threatened to call the police. We had never said we wouldn’t pay, but felt anything beyond paying for one room was unreasonable. The whole thing got our day off to a terrible start.
