The garden has a pool you can use in the evening, a grassy yard, a swing bed and a hammock. There’s also table football downstairs. We cooked and baked using the stove in the building, or the bacon oven, oven and grill in the garden. The kitchen is well equipped, with spices and a microwave, though it only has a traditional coffee maker, no capsule machine. The Wi-Fi worked well, and there’s a TV too. It’s a cozy place in lovely surroundings, with a well-equipped three-bedroom apartment, an American-style kitchen, a shower and two toilets. Every room has a wood-burning stove for cooler weather. The owner is kind and helpful, and there are several payment options. The bedding was clean and freshly washed, though the mattress could be more comfortable. The doors creak. A good fit for hikers, families, groups of friends, or anyone looking for peace and quiet or a retreat.

The living room and dining room are both spacious, and I really liked the tastefully designed house and hospitable host. A few things could be improved: the mattresses could be a little thicker, there was a strong smell of detergent everywhere, and I’d recommend better insulation around the water-heater connection under the bathtub.

There are plenty of attractions in the area, so it’s worth visiting. The guesthouse has a large garden with outdoor activities, and dogs are welcome. Inside, there are three rooms with three, four and three beds, plus an equipped kitchen area, a dining table and a living room. Wi-Fi is available, and there’s table football in the basement. It’s on a quiet, tidy street, with a small general store about 20 meters away.
