The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful. Mine was missing the slippers that were listed as included, though that wasn’t a big deal. The staff were all kind and helpful, especially the ladies at reception. There’s plant based milk at breakfast, which I really appreciated. The food overall looks appealing and has lots of choice for people who eat everything. I’d asked for vegan food when booking and again on arrival, and they assured me they’d do their best to provide enough options. But there wasn’t a single soup I could eat. The first evening’s main was grilled vegetables and baked potatoes, then the second evening it was plain rice, porridge, and steamed broccoli. Not an inspiring selection. There were no vegan desserts either, and I don’t count fruit as dessert, yet the full price still applies. It’s disappointing when they promise to try and then don’t deliver. The sauna setup is a bit odd. You have to keep changing in and out of your swimsuit because there are no loungers inside the sauna area unless you pay extra, so resting means going to the pool area. The sauna staff kept opening the “emergency door,” which was uncomfortable when my lounger was nearby because of the cold draft. Coming out of the pool into weather just a few degrees above zero with that door wide open beside you was especially unpleasant. You can use the pool on arrival day, but after checkout on departure day you need to buy a day pass. The rooms are also really hot, and you can’t adjust the temperature.

There’s nowhere to walk outside in the evening except the spacious parking lot. The resort sits among fields and an industrial area, and the place can be noisy. When you come out of the saunas outside the hotel, manure fumes from the fields can spoil the moment. The rooms are clean and nice, with plenty of hangers, and I like the design, though that depends on taste. Water pressure on the fourth floor is horrible, especially when the hotel is more than half full. Breakfast and dinner are tasty with lots of choice, but the food descriptions and labels don’t match what’s served. Staff are friendly but not informative, and most don’t speak English. German is more likely to work. The wellness area is decent, but people keep changing in and out of swimsuits in the sauna section, which makes for a strange routine. There are also quite a few people using phones, taking pictures, and playing loud music. It can ruin the moment and raises concerns about privacy and intimacy. A decent resort, but the experience was mixed.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with lots of variety and good quality. The pool and spa area was spacious and pleasant. Just be aware that the rules require you to use the sauna and Turkish bath without swimsuits. Our family room was comfortable, modern, and well equipped, though the ventilation in the kids’ room was quite loud and couldn’t be turned off.

The outdoor pool looks like the nice turquoise one in the photos, but the water is very cold, not thermal, and unsuitable for children. There’s only one pool indoors, just three hairdryers in the changing room, and none near the shower. I don’t recommend it, and we won’t come again!

The sauna was a great experience overall. The area is beautiful, like something a multimillionaire would design for himself, with large glass walls, lots of light, plenty of space, and a garden. It costs 4000 ft for two hours, including a locker. I’d have liked the Finnish sauna to be hotter. It’s only 80 degrees. There was also a ceremony in the Finnish sauna that I didn’t know about, and I wasn’t allowed to join because I had to pay in advance. It lasted about 20 minutes, and during that time I couldn’t use the only type of hot sauna in the complex. Thanks. 🙏
