A lovely couple run the place. Our train was 3.5 hours late, but they still picked us up at the station late at night. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and it's a 500m walk to the city center.

The hosts are very kind and helpful, and the accommodation was clean and had everything we could need. Shops, the downtown area, attractions, and a pharmacy are all just a few minutes away on foot. The bus stop is about 20 meters away. A perfect place to stay for Blue Trail hikers.

The bus to Velem leaves right outside, and from there you can walk a few kilometers to Írottkő Lookout, the western starting point of the National Blue Trail. For everyday shopping, there's a pharmacy across the road, a Spar 100 meters behind the accommodation, and a Penny a few hundred meters in the other direction. The center of Kőszeg is an easy 12-15 minute walk. The place is clean and well equipped, and they offer coffee as well as transfers between the train station and the accommodation. This is my third stay with these lovely hosts, and they're still just as nice and polite as ever. I recommend it to everyone from the bottom of my heart!
