The owner told us the building is 225 years old, and you can feel its age in the rooms, in a good way. Everything was clean and neat, and the owner was incredibly helpful, making us both dinner and breakfast. We only stayed one night on the way to Croatia, but there was nothing we needed that we didn't have. The apartment for three adults and one child cost 84 euros. The dinner shown in the last photo was for three people, and we couldn't finish it all 😂🤦

From the outside the building looks very old, but inside it's a hidden gem. The rooms were comfortable and really clean, and the staff were friendly with great service. The location is easy to get to.

We stopped for a night on the way back from Croatia. The owner's warm welcome and the way we were looked after were unlike anything I've experienced. I'll remember it for the rest of my life.

The food was a real highlight, local, inexpensive, and served in huge portions. The service was very nice too. The local woman, who I assume was the owner's wife, rarely understood anything beyond Hungarian, but the owner was more experienced and we managed without any trouble. We stayed one night on our way to Croatia. The hotel was modest, clean, and retro, and the rooms were nice. My one disappointment was the lack of outlets. There were only two in our room for three people, so we had to unplug the lamp.
