The messages said spa access was included, as shown in the screenshot, but now they’re asking for 5k florint per person. The service was very unfriendly. The receptionist and the maintenance guy came into the room twice without even knocking.

Please don’t waste your money here. I’ve never dealt with a business so incompetent, selfish, and disrespectful. The owner was the worst person I’ve ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Those are my kind words. I could tell a long, horrible story, but I’ll leave it there. The management is overwhelmingly awful. This hotel will go bankrupt soon, and will deserve it.

The garden is beautiful, there’s a bar with a good wine selection, and the rooms have WiFi. They did run out of rosé, though. The pool and spa facilities are excellent, with towels, sauna sheets, and dressing gowns provided. The pool jets weren’t working, but the sauna and steam room were great. Our three-night stay started smoothly. Check-in covered all the rules and breakfast and spa times, and there was a welcome pack in the room. The rooms were spotless, with a strong shower and reliably warm water, a hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, tissues, blackout blinds, and good air conditioning. The bed was comfy, though we could have used another pillow each. The kitchen had a coffee machine, stovetop, fridge with complimentary water, and plenty of dishes, pans, and cutlery. There was just one dishwasher tablet, and no washing-up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea towel, or kettle for making tea. Breakfast was a big letdown. The ingredients were poor quality, food items were reused daily, and there was no pepper or paprika on the tables. Service was slow, and the meal didn’t live up to the hotel’s four-star rating. It lacked refinement. The welcome from staff was great, but customer service and politeness were inconsistent. Maybe staff training would help. Martin, who was working in the evening, was amazing and a great guy. The blonde woman serving breakfast on Wednesday worked so hard. Fibula is right in the centre of Pécs, close to bars and restaurants, and a ten-minute walk from the train station. It has huge potential, but breakfast and customer service need work to make it a fully four-star experience.

The wellness area was peaceful, and with fewer guests around during our visit, my mom and I could enjoy it without crowds. We stayed in one of the hotel’s two-bedroom apartments, and the place was clean and in a fantastic location. The staff were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to make us comfortable. A nearby bar got noisy on weekend nights and disrupted our sleep. When we raised it at reception, the attentive staff dealt with our concerns quickly. We had a delightful stay and highly recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, location, and friendly staff.
