Panama Motel

The manager’s attitude really upset me. She said it wasn’t her problem that there was garbage in the corners, the shower door was nearly falling on me, or the room fridges were rusty. I realize this is the cheapest motel in the area, but that doesn’t excuse such unacceptable hygiene and safety conditions. We had a terrible experience.

We slept well in the bright, lovely rooms, and the bathroom was clean with hand soap provided. Breakfast offered more than one option, and the Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and worked well. Some people call this a hotel and put this comfortable place down, but for such a low price, you get the best around. I can only recommend it!

Those few hours there left me queasy, disgusted, and unsettled. The bed didn’t seem to have anything clean or freshly washed on it, and there was hair and a mess on the bed, pillow, and everywhere else. I found hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, plus pubic hair on the bed. The room was dusty and messy, with crumbs on the table, wet patches on the carpets, and old, worn, dirty stools. There was a musty, hospital-like smell, and I found a trail of blood on the hanger with a dead mosquito beside it. Spiders and insects were in every corner. The bathroom has no direct sewage drain from the tiles, so if it floods, water reaches the room within three minutes at most. From the moment I entered, the air felt repulsive, and the staff greeted me listlessly while talking on the phone. The motel doesn’t offer conditions fit for a human stay.

I regret bringing my family here for one night. I breathed dust all night in the dark, dirty room. It was expensive for what we got, with dusty rooms, no shampoo or soap, worn showers, and broken electrical plugs. I highly do not recommend it.
