The emus on the farm were a fun extra, and there’s plenty of green space for camping if the many rooms aren’t enough. It works especially well for larger groups, with room to cook over a fire and spend time together. The village itself has little to see beyond a good restaurant across the way, but there are enjoyable places nearby, including Zalakaros and Kis-Balaton.

We’re planning to return next summer. We had such a good long weekend with friends and family, grilling, cooking in a bogrács, and swimming in the outdoor pool. The surroundings are lovely and peaceful, and the hosts are really kind.
