We stayed for two days and really appreciated everything Mama did for us. She was so welcoming and took great care of us, and the breakfasts she made were absolutely delicious. Thank you for the lovely hospitality and service.

The upper deck has a spectacular view over the city, the volcano, and the stars at night. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy, and the shower is hot. The owner lives next door and speaks great English. Breakfast was okay too.

When we came back late from the hike, breakfast was still available even though we'd already passed checkout. We climbed Mount Inerie with Meggie Adventure the day after arriving, and it was an awesome experience. We had arrived late on our motorcycles without having lunch, and the lady in charge kindly cooked us a simple nasi goreng with vegetables and Tempe. The place is clean and basic, and it got cold enough in the evening that you don't really need A/C. We were happy with our stay.

The family who run Bajawa Roo were lovely and helpful both before our visit and while we were there. It's clean and well maintained, with free-flow water and refrigerators in the rooms. The restaurant is on the top floor and has a spectacular view. Breakfast came with an omelette, pancakes, toast, fruit, and all the condiments you'd need. The location is ideal, with the good restaurants within walking distance and a great view of town. It came highly recommended, and we weren't disappointed. I'd give it six stars if I could.

The owners, a lovely woman and her husband, took such good care of me. After I fell in a roadside ditch in town, they checked that I was okay. My ankle was pretty bad the next morning, so when I didn't come down for breakfast, Sri had it brought to my room. The place was comfortable and pleasant. Getting around can be difficult if you have mobility issues because of the steep slope and stairs, and the shower tap is unusually high, which could be a problem if you're short.
