Betutu Bali Villas

We liked the peaceful atmosphere and the welcoming staff. The villa was lovely and cozy for a stay with family and friends, and breakfast was yummy. Our room looked out over the pool, with Ubud Market and monkey forest close by.

Our room had the things we needed, though it was a little worn and not clean. Service felt poor, and the staff weren't very kind. We also hadn't been told about the construction until we arrived. From 8:00-17:00 there was noise in every room, and dust from the new building next door was getting into the pool.

The rooms are a good size, nicely decorated and each has a balcony. The AC worked well, and the shower had hot water, though the bathrooms felt tired and the toilets smelled bad. Breakfast was basic but fine, with tropical fruit, eggs and banana pancakes. Just white bread and regular milk, though. The villas are tucked away from the busy street, but construction noise goes on every day from 8am to 5pm, even Sundays. Poolside relaxation takes good headphones.

We left 5.000.000Rp in the safety box during our five-night stay and didn't touch it. After checking out, when we went to pay for new accommodation, we found only 3.000.000 left. When I contacted the property, they blamed me instead of trying to work out what happened. They also said that if I went to the police, they would accuse me of damaging something. I wouldn't stay here if you don't want to risk being robbed.
