The staff were one of the best parts of my visit to Grand Livio Kuta. They were polite, friendly, and ready to help, which made the stay more enjoyable. Everything I needed was close by, including supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping areas, so the location was very handy. My room was comfortable, clean, and well kept. Housekeeping kept it tidy, the facilities were in good condition, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was served each morning with a decent selection. It was average, but convenient before heading out. For a reasonable price, this is a good choice in Kuta if you want a clean, comfortable hotel in a convenient spot.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, including restaurants, bars, a minimart and even a food market. The staff were really friendly, and the service was fantastic. Our room felt modern and bright, with cold air conditioning, and the bed sheets were especially clean with no bad smell. Great value for the price, highly recommended.

We arrived around 1:30 in the morning with our Traveloka voucher confirmed, but the hotel said it hadn't received the email because it had been sent to a different address. That wasn't our problem to solve. SIDI handled us, but offered no practical alternative, like taking a deposit or keeping a credit card as a guarantee. We ended up waiting in the lobby for almost an hour. Eventually, SIDI said he had found the booking confirmation on Extra Net. Even with procedures to follow, hospitality calls for some flexibility and a case-by-case response. There was no sincere apology when we got the room key, and not even a simple good-night or welcome. I also wonder why a three-star hotel has no night manager, duty manager or other leader available to make a decision. SIDI needs more training on the difference between service and hospitality. Guests are people, and staff should handle problems with genuine care and sincerity. This was our first and last stay. We'd rather pay more than go through that stress again.

The location is handy, with lots of restaurants and a minimarket close by. But the hotel and room smelled strongly of mold, and the bathroom stank. Some basic items, like a toothbrush, are only available on request, which was a hassle for me traveling alone. I was sharing a twin room with a friend, and the transparent bathroom glass made showering uncomfortable because she could see my silhouette. A twin room means separate beds. With better hotel options around, this was disappointing.
