Maya Village Bali

Breakfast was pretty boring for me, and I still don't like oatmeal. It’s a decent hotel for the price, though. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived around 4 am. The staff seemed confused and unsure what to do, and after about 20 minutes they gave us only one room even though we'd booked two. The next morning, once the staff who knew how to handle it were there, we got the other room.

A rat showed up in the cafe, but they got rid of it quickly. The staff were very kind and helpful, and moved us to a bigger room because the first one was too small. The room smelled of sewage, and they tried to fix it. They brought us food when we asked and cleaned the pool often.

I came with my family, including my grandma and niece, and the place didn't look quite like the pictures. I expected the pool to be bigger, but it really isn't. It could use a little more care. I guess it's fine if you just need somewhere to rest or are traveling backpacker-style.

Good enough for a budget traveler, but the pool is so small it seems meant only for children. My room wasn't clean to me, there were ants in the bedroom and my body got itchy.
