The complimentary shuttle to Ubud Market was a convenient extra, and Komang and his team took great care with everything, from transport and food service to making sure the retreat itinerary stayed fulfilling and enjoyable. I was there for the 4-day yoga retreat package, and came away feeling deeply rejuvenated. My villa was spacious and lovely, surrounded by peaceful greenery, with a clean private pool that's just the right size for relaxing. The food was outstanding, and the staff were warm and attentive. The whole resort had a calm, elegant feel. I had an exceptional stay at Purana Boutique Resort & Spa in Ubud, and would absolutely come back. 10/10, highly recommend. A solo traveler can feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after at Purana. The staff were always welcoming and helpful, and every day it felt like coming home. The resort is calm compared with central Ubud, which makes it a nice place to unwind. They run shuttles to central Ubud at regular times, though booking your own grab bike/car is easier. Leave extra time for getting around because Bali traffic is insane. I'd recommend this resort 100%.

The food is amazing and very well priced, and the staff made our stay feel special with all their help and attention. Big thanks to Jannik for a great trip to the rice fields, Bali swing, and temple. His local knowledge and the conversations we had added a lot to the tour. Even though the area is bustling, the Purana Boutique Resort feels peaceful and welcoming, almost like a family place. If you want to feel at home in paradise, stay here.

Each morning, fresh, tasty breakfast was brought right to my villa on time. The restaurant was great too, with lovely meals that were surprisingly affordable, mixing local flavors and international flair. The WiFi was reliable and strong, so I could work quietly or share the trip with loved ones. My one-bedroom villa felt like a private sanctuary, spacious and beautifully decorated with Balinese touches, with peaceful views and plenty of privacy. The staff welcomed me with genuine warmth and kept being friendly and attentive throughout, making me feel like family. Though the resort is just outside the busy center, the complimentary shuttle made getting into town easy. There were also restaurants and art galleries nearby, and I rented a scooter close by for exploring. The resort sits amid tropical greenery and rice paddies, so it felt tranquil while still being convenient. The afternoon rainstorms in rainy season were a highlight. I loved watching them move across the landscape from my villa. After looking at so many places, I felt lucky to have chosen this quiet hideaway in Ubud. Purana Boutique Resort left me feeling refreshed and inspired, already wishing I could return.
