Room & Vespa 4

Our only regret is not staying longer at Vespa. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean, and the staff were lovely and friendly. Check-in and checkout went smoothly. We loved our stay!

The night guard rushed us away even though we didn't want to speak with him, and he didn't seem to know how to behave. I really don't recommend staying here. You'll only be treated badly.

The room was large and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Although the hotel is close to one of Seminyak's busiest streets, a Mini Mart, and lots of good restaurants, it stays quiet at night. Its general location is good, but finding it at night was tricky: it's in a dark alley, and our driver had trouble locating it. The shower pole was broken, so we had to hold the shower by hand. There were mothballs scattered along the bathroom's lower walls, probably to keep away some rats we saw near the pool. We never saw any in our room. Aside from those issues, everything was okay, and we'd recommend Room & Vespa 4.

The building work across the lane was the main problem. They used a jackhammer on and off during the day, so we left a day early. It sounds temporary, but check with the property about the current situation. The location is handy, about four minutes from the beach and five minutes from the cafes on eat st. There are lots of spas in the street, and Carla’s, our favourite, was a couple of minutes away. The property is 20 metres down a side street. Our king-size bed was very comfortable, the room was nicely decorated, and there was a jug for making tea and coffee. It feels a bit run down since the pandemic and needs a refurb. The sheets and towels were clean but stained, and need replacing.
