Yudi and Erna already feel like family to us. They’re such gracious hosts, and we’re grateful to have met them. Their villa is amazing, with thoughtful attention to detail, phenomenal breakfasts, and so much care put into making guests’ stays special. Yudi is also a wonderful tour guide. He took us on several day trips and proudly showed us the beautiful scenery around Ubud. If you’re planning a trip there, this is the place to stay.

We could get around Ubud easily from here, with plenty of good places to eat close by and the market area only about a 10-minute scooter ride away. Our room was spotless, and the couple running the guesthouse were lovely, always warm and attentive, even sharing tips on nearby spots. A cozy place, and one I’d happily recommend.

Erna & Yudi made this stay feel personal. They own the villa and live nearby in the village, and by the end I felt like part of the family. The place itself was quiet, private, clean, and so restful. I’m already looking forward to returning again and again.

Rumah Dadong is locally owned and run, which matters to us because the money stays in the community. And the people who run it made us feel so welcome: Erna and Yudi were wonderful hosts, always smiling, and we honestly hated having to leave. The room was immaculate each day, and breakfast was delicious. Erna even remembered which fruit I liked and changed the selection the next morning. We’re grateful we got to stay here, and their hospitality set a remarkable standard for us.

The hosts were warm and kind, and the location gave us a nice balance: close enough to walk into Ubud’s center, but far enough out to get away from the crowds. It would work well for either a short visit or a longer stay.
