Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the little “word of the day” at each place setting was a nice personal touch. The villas at The Amala Boutique Retreat were peaceful, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details that made us feel at home. We had a lovely stay in Seminyak, and the welcoming staff made us feel at ease right from arrival. A great place to slow down, relax, and recharge in Bali.

We spent the first five days of our honeymoon at The Amala, then went somewhere else and had a really bad experience. Coming back at the end was the best decision. The team welcomed us with open arms and did everything they could to make us comfortable and happy. It felt like being at home with family from the moment we arrived. Every staff member was kind and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, and we honestly couldn't fault the place. The Amala will always be special to us. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable. We'll definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and wonderful service.

The Amala was absolutely awesome. Service was available around the clock and the best I've ever experienced. The staff took care of my family and me throughout the trip, including when we all got sick. By the time we left, they felt like family. If I come back to Bali, I'd definitely stay here again. The hotel is small, but it's maintained to an amazing standard, which gives the place a personal feel. The food was superb. Anyone complaining about it would complain in a Michelin restaurant, that's how good it was. Every member of staff was brilliant and eager to help, from the grounds team and cleaners to the front desk. Marvella deserves a special mention for answering all our questions each morning and giving great advice, though I believe the rest of the staff would have done the same. I've stayed in many hotels over the years, and this is the best. I'd rate it 10/10, or higher if I could.

I got bali belly on our last night, and the hotel driver took me straight to the medical centre and waited with me all night until I could leave. All the staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful. We had an amazing stay at The Amala. The room was beautiful and had a private pool. Cleaners came every day, always while we were out so they didn't disturb us. Highly recommend, it's a beautiful place with amazing people.
