Grand Dafam Braga Bandung

We stayed in a Deluxe Room, and it worked well for our family of three. The room was comfortable, and we had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was enjoyable, with plenty to choose from, including traditional vegetable fritters and dumplings as well as pastries. Grand Dafam is right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of popular coffee shops, cafes, and iconic Braga Street. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, from the front desk and housekeeping to security. Keep up the great work.

The location was convenient, close to restaurants and public transportation. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help. Breakfast was delicious and had a good range of food. It's good value for money, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I'd love to come back.

Gedung Sate is a much nicer area to stay, with excellent coffee places and restaurants nearby. Here, Braga street and the adjoining shopping complex have seen better days and feel run down; the area is mostly convenience stores and fast food places. It's also too far from the train station, and the sidewalks, where they exist, are in terrible shape for rolling luggage. Getting in and out means using an underground parking garage that's difficult to manage with suitcases. I don't know where the good reviews are coming from. This is at best a 3 star hotel, with a rating of no more than 3.5 in my view. No bottled water is provided, something I've never encountered at a 4 star hotel. The hotel is very old, with run down rooms, roaches in the bathroom, and mold on the shower head. Outside noise comes through the single pane windows, which aren't sealed when closed. You'll hear the morning call to prayer at 5 AM and late night noise from clubs.

The room was clean, and breakfast had plenty of good options. Everyone on staff was kind and attentive, especially Tasya in the restaurant. I did spot a little mold in the bathroom, though it didn't affect my stay much.
