Hotel Bumi Siliwangi by My Hospitality

Recommended.

I ended up staying here overnight near DT Mosque after running out of nearby accommodation. I also have a nephew studying at UPI. From outside, the building looks big, like the ones around campus. The room I booked felt cramped, and even saying a prayer in it was a bit difficult. Since I only needed a place to sleep and spent most of my time outside, I made do. In the morning, it was nice to exercise and take a relaxed walk around campus. Breakfast was standard for the 200 price I paid; I wasn't expecting a hotel-style spread with lots of choices.

We had breakfast included for two with the 500,000 price for two nights, and it felt worth it. My child’s breakfast cost 35,000. The menu is simple, and there’s plenty of food and snacks just outside the campus. The hotel is tucked at the back of UPI, and our room stayed quiet and comfortable. Staff were quick and friendly, replacing our broken TV remote right away. They also cleaned the room and changed the towels and mats without us asking. Mineral water, tea, and coffee were always there, and the facilities all worked. God willing, I’ll stay here again when I’m back in Bandung.

The parking area is spacious, and there’s a lane beside the hotel where you can buy food. We stayed one night for my child’s UPI graduation, booking rooms 322 and 323 on the third floor. I reached the hotel at 11:30 AM and checked in at 2:00 PM. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh, with cool AC. Everyone we met, from security and reception to housekeeping, was friendly. A nice, comfortable place.
