Rose Hotel Bangkalan is a convenient, affordable option for a short stay, with friendly, helpful staff and rooms that are generally clean and cozy. The location is easy to reach and gives quick access to the city. Some rooms feel a little old and could use minor maintenance. Breakfast choices are limited, the Wi-Fi sometimes runs slowly, and the parking area is rather small. It's not perfect, but the comfort and service are decent for the price.

I stayed in a superior room on the 3rd floor, and the huge balcony overlooking Bangkalan was the highlight. It was lovely for drinks at sunset or in the evening, and I ate breakfast out there too. The place felt clean and comfortable, and could be one of the best places to stay in Bangkalan. The basic room had mostly twin beds, a table, and two chairs. The mattress and thick duvet felt like home. In the bathroom there was a shower, faucet, and toilet with bidet, but no sink, so I brushed my teeth at the faucet. The TV only had blurry local channels, and I had to switch on the bathroom light to get power for it. There weren't enough electrical sockets, and mine was above the dressing table mirror.

Getting around is easy, with the alun alun, cafe, and dines just a walk away. The carport was good, and breakfast was delicious, though it came in a box. The spacious room earned four stars, but the air con took a while to cool it and there were no slippers, so bring your own. The bathroom could use more cleaning, and there was no hot water.
