Nitha Homestay

Agus and his wife made us feel at home right away. We were welcomed with iced tea, then had tea and fruit waiting when we got back from Ijen. They helped arrange the trip, which was one of the most amazing experiences of our whole trip and very reasonably priced. The family restaurant served tasty food for very affordable prices, and the Homestay itself was great value. It’s directly opposite the brand new Banyuwangi kota station, which was really handy. This was more than we could have hoped for. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

The rooms were clean and really comfortable, and the location right in front of the train station couldn’t be more convenient. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and we were very happy we stayed here to visit the Ijen Volcano. There’s a restaurant at the Homestay with incredible food and great prices. They also arrange tours and rent motorbikes and masks. We’d recommend the place without hesitation.

We arrived in town close to midnight, and staying right across from the train station was a big help. The rooms were very clean and it was excellent value. Breakfast was included, with tasty banana pancakes and coffee, plus other local options. There was no hot water, just a lukewarm shower, so keep that in mind. It didn’t bother us in Indonesia’s warm weather. Highly recommend.

Nitha arranged our Ijen tour and provided everything we needed for it, and the location and service were excellent. I booked the cheapest room, which had no air conditioning or hot water. It was too cold to shower at night and too hot to sleep at noon.
