Weekend live music from the dinner venue carried clearly to the second floor until 9pm, and the pool activities approved by the hotel woke me at 7am. The rooms have terrible sound insulation, so hotel-sanctioned noise comes straight through. I called the front desk about the morning noise, but nothing changed and it got worse. There was no quiet time. The hotel could have controlled or moved the activities, enforced quiet hours, or warned guests beforehand, but none of that happened. Management showed no concern. Avoid it if you value sleep or peace.

The dinner area was set up beautifully near the swimming pool, and the food was delicious. The hotel team added thoughtful touches, including birthday cakes and decorations, and gave us warm, professional, genuinely kind service all evening. Mr Fendi and the staff helped make it a magical celebration. We celebrated my wife's 44th birthday and my daughter's 8th birthday during our stay, together with my staff from AQ Utama Sdn Bhd. I'm very grateful to the whole team for making it unforgettable. We'll return and highly recommend the hotel for its hospitality.

The room was big and fairly clean, though rust on the soap dispenser handle made me feel disgusted to touch it. Check-in took a very long time despite the queue, with just one person at the front desk. I'm a platinum All Accor member and should have received an upgrade two levels above my booked room, but the hotel insisted on only one level. I reported it to All Accor and was redirected to the hotel, which never responded. The coffee machine wasn't working, so I could only get instant coffee from a vending machine during my stay. Breakfast had limited meal options, and there weren't many food choices in the area either.

Getting around cost me less than $30 for three nights and four days. Grab and Gojek were so cheap and handy that we hardly used the shuttle, so this felt like good value.
