Ondos Hotel

My husband and I were happy with the service and how clean everything was. The lobby was well kept, and although there weren't many staff around, they were ready to help when needed. I'm picky about bathrooms, and theirs was clean and looked after. The bedroom was simple, with the three-hole type of plug. We arrived and crashed, so I didn't get any pictures. Highly appreciate and recommend this place.

The room and beds were okay, and the breakfast server was friendly and helpful. But we'd find another hotel next time we're in Batam. We booked two twin rooms through traveloka for 11-12 Nov 2023, but were told on arrival there weren't any, so we got two queen-bed rooms. Sharing a bed wasn't convenient since we were colleagues, not family. Our rooms were on the second floor, with no lift. The stairs were very steep and the steps were uneven, a big no for older people. There was no hot water, and one shower had no pressure, so no water came out. The shower room in the other room locked from the inside and wouldn't open while someone was in there. We had to call for help, and it happened twice. The person who helped the second time was upset with us, which was really annoying. There was no shampoo or soap in the shower room even though a dispenser was there. Breakfast only had two options, mie goreng or nasi goreng.

Only five minutes from the airport and ten minutes from uptown Batam Center. The price is friendly, and the hotel has complete facilities. Clean, comfortable, and tidy. A hotel travelers shouldn't miss.
