Avisara Villa & Guest House

We were a family of five, so the rooms felt small, but getting adjacent rooms was easy. Wayan and his wife were lovely, and the quiet property, tidy grounds, and pool made for a pleasant stay. The rooms, especially the bathroom, could use some attention, though for the price I didn't mind. We found a nearby cafe within walking distance for breakfast, with delicious food at a good price. Wayan's brother Kresta was also lovely: he collected us from the airport and offered to drive us around. Thanks for the stay, from the Douglas family.

I had a terrible experience here. The owner was arrogant and spoke loudly to guests, and I didn't find him helpful. It seemed that only the husband and wife were looking after the hotel, and they were often unavailable. There was no hot water in the morning or evening, and they charged extra when I asked for help. At this price, I'd choose another property.

We stayed five days and would come back. The workers were lovely, smiling as they took care of every request, and the place was clean. It's in a quiet part of Nusa Dua, so it's a nice place to stay if you want some peace. Quick access to nightlife or shopping isn't what this location offers.

I booked four nights but left after just one, finding a nicer place the next morning. There was no hot water for a shower at night or in the morning, and when I asked for breakfast, they tried to charge me extra even though I'd paid for it when booking. It didn't meet our expectations, and I won't return.
