The dark, stuffy room and hallway were bad enough, but the rest of the place looked poorly maintained too. The walls and floor were dirty, the air conditioner didn't work, and the sheets were torn and rough. Even the pillowcases didn't fit the pillows, and the kettle was rusty. Then, while I was showering, someone screamed very loudly close by. It startled me, and I couldn't tell where it came from. Such a strange and unpleasant stay. Traveloka lists this as a two-star hotel with a score above 8. Do they ever check the condition of the hotels on the app?

Getting to the hotel was easy and the family suite price was reasonable, but our stay with the family had several problems. The water suddenly stopped while I was showering, and there was no way to sort it out because the phone line wasn't connected. The bathroom ventilation also failed, so its smell reached the bedroom. Reception said the technician wasn't there, and he always seemed to be away. None of it got fixed before I checked out.

I had a good stay. The staff were accommodating, and the rooms were cleaned every day. A solid budget option, I'd recommend it.

The room was tiny and very basic, and the bed was dirty, so check the rest of the room too. Don't hesitate to ask room service to clean it. The building itself is nice, though it looks old, and it's next to a wet market that smells as you walk past.
