The air conditioning made it easy to sleep well, so I’d recommend this hotel. Kak rebeka was very helpful. If you want to climb mount inerie, you can ask her about a guide and she’ll take you up, or help arrange activities in Bajawa.

The Indonesian breakfast was good. I stayed here for a stop on the way to Bajawa, and the room was large, clean, and had AC. At first one room smelled a bit damp, apparently because it hadn’t been used for a few days, but after we ran the aircon for a while it was fine.

The staff were all really nice and friendly, but I was surprised by how unclean the place was after reading the reviews. Some pillows smelled used, and there was hair on the sheets. The floor was dusty and dirty enough that I didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot. There was no hot water or sink in the bathroom, and you have to flush the toilet with a bucket and paddle. A big cockroach was living in the drain. The advertised 250k rate was for a twin room, with another 50k for breakfast and wifi. The double room was 300k without breakfast or wifi. Breakfast was rice, vegetables, cold eggs, tea or coffee, but the rice was full of ants, so I couldn’t eat it. A church or something nearby played very loud music at 6:30am.

The service was very good and the staff were friendly, which made us feel comfortable staying there. Hotel Gloria has clean, spacious rooms with AC, and it’s certainly a comfortable place. It’s also very close to Cepi Watu Beach.
