We booked two rooms through Traveloka, but the staff said they were overbooked and offered us another hotel near the guesthouse. That replacement was very good, a new, clean, comfortable hotel with buffet breakfast on the rooftop, and there was no extra cost. On the second day we moved to Bamboosa and got upgraded to a two-room villa. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The villa can accommodate up to six people and has a big living room, smartTV, free wifi, and a kitchen where cooking is allowed, with a stove and basic utensils. There’s also a dispenser with hot and cold water. Breakfast came prepacked as nasi goreng. Thank you Bamboosa for having us.

A nice, clean semi-d villa with a queen bedroom and an attic room that has a single bed and a queen bed. The toilet is clean and looks like a five-star hotel. There’s filtered drinking water, kitchen utensils, a stove, TV, and sofa.

I felt comfortable here as a woman traveling solo. Rico helped me rent a motorbike for a three-day trip and booked a bus for me. The house, garden, and places to relax are lovely, and the terrace has a really cool view of the volcanoes. Breakfast is included and very good, and there are free water refills, tea, and coffee. The room was good, with a private bathroom and hot shower.

The bed was very comfortable, and the place is well kept and especially very clean. I stayed two nights and it was worth every penny. Breakfast was a delicious banana pancake with lovely coffee, and there was a hot shower too. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Thanks to Sapriadi as well.

We were very happy with our five-day stay. The location, staff, and included breakfast were all great, and the guesthouse felt comfortable and homely. The bedroom furnishings were old and worn, though clean and comfortable, and fine for the price.
