Hotel O Bukittinggi Near Padang Luar

The staff were fairly friendly, and the place has adequate facilities for an affordable stay: Wi-Fi, toiletries, towels, a TV, and a hot and cold shower. It’s in a strategic location, though the Clock Tower is about 4 km away. The room has no ventilation, and with no fan or AC it gets stuffy and the toilet smells. I hope they improve that in the future.

Fast Wi-Fi and hot water in the shower were good, and the staff were friendly. The inn is clean and sits on the main road to Padang, about 3 from Jam Gadang. The facilities fit the price and meet RedDoorz standards. My room had no air conditioning or fan, though, and poor ventilation made it feel stuffy. Voices from the hallway carried loudly because the room wasn't soundproof. Hope they improve this in the future.

Booking through the Reddoorz app can get you a promotion. Reddoorz Syariah Plus Azzahra is in Padang Luar, fairly close to Bukittinggi and near the junction for Lake Maninjau. The place felt comfortable and clean, with Wi-Fi, bath soap, and other basics available.

The room was comfortable enough, but the bathroom mat was poor. After I came back from the bathroom, the room was wet and dirty, and the hot water wasn't working.
