Villa Barong

We stayed in Villa Barong, Candidasa, and I can highly recommend it. Breakfast was freshly made each morning, and the four staff cleaned the bedrooms, kitchen and everything else daily. Thank you, Nengah, Putu, Made and the rest of the team. Our villa had three ensuite bedrooms, a kitchen and dining area, an outdoor lounge, a huge pool, a separate spa and lush gardens around it. It was a great place to stay in a perfect location.

We had a great family vacation here. The house has a lush garden and feels private, with large bedrooms and a spacious kitchen. All the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, and everything was well cared for by friendly, helpful staff. There's a big pool and a shallow one for kids too. It's close to the beach, though unfortunately it's quite dirty, like all the beaches on Bali. You can still snorkel right off the beach and see the same fish as at the bigger reefs. The house isn't on the main street, but the shops and restaurants are still within walking distance.

A good choice for a family or larger group. It's calm and sparkly clean, and the breakfast is nice, typical for Bali but nothing special. The staff are helpful and chatty without getting in your way, and they'll arrange whatever you need. The place is comfortable too.

Private, calm and comfortable, with five-star cleaning and service from the villa staff. It's about a five-minute walk to the 'centre' of Candidassa, where there isn't much to do, though there are a few little supermarkets, some nice Warung and one excellent international restaurant.
