Villa Gita Segara

The staff were the kindest and most helpful we met anywhere in Indonesia, and the chef was happy to take our food suggestions. You pay for the ingredients. The house is also much more beautiful in person than the photos suggest. It's spacious enough that I think even 12 people could stay without getting in each other's way, especially with the enormous master bedroom, shared areas, outdoor space and pool. It's a shame the house is in Bali and not on another island, though this part of Bali is still pretty peaceful and close to lots of attractions. We would gladly return and highly recommend it!

The private beach outside was surprisingly clean, and the water was really clear. The beds were very comfortable, the view is amazing, and the villa and pool are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, as was the beef rendang. Warung Budi Ayu, just a minute away, has great local food, and the villa chefs cook well too. Rico’s Soto Ayam was delicious. It would be nice if the villa offered poolside coffee. One thing, I was woken every day at 7am by someone vigorously sweeping leaves outside my bedroom window. Still, it made for a long day of relaxing, I suppose.

We enjoyed every minute at this beautiful villa, with such friendly, helpful staff. It’s a little far from tourist attractions and surfing, so it suited us perfectly as a quiet, relaxing getaway. There are activities you can arrange from there too. We went snorkeling and fishing straight from the villa.

The villa looks even better than the photos and has a really nice atmosphere. The staff are good, and the chef is very good too. Always happy to come back here ❤️
