There’s a little onsite shop for drinks and snacks, and the staff are very friendly. Our clean, comfortable room was part of a property with its own pool. It’s well located, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and just a 10 minute walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay, and the prices were super reasonable.

Our king bed was actually two twin beds pushed together, but we didn’t mind. The room had quite a few ants, though that wasn’t a big deal. This quiet hotel is good value and centrally located, so the beach, shops, love anchor market and the town’s best restaurants are easy to reach on foot. As vegans, we had the small fruit bowl that was provided free for breakfast. The staff were kind, though they didn’t speak much English. It was handy to have a fridge and hot water for drinks. We had a hot shower, but the shower head had a lot of buildup and didn’t spray straight down.

The family running the place were very friendly, and breakfast was included: a bowl of fruit and a croissant with chocolate. From outside, there’s a lovely view over rice paddies. The room was a decent size, and the bathroom was clean and new. It’s isolated and calm, and very good value. There are lots of dogs around, some not so friendly, which may be normal in canggu. You’d need to love dogs or at least tolerate them.

The people were friendly and very respectful of my privacy, and they served a free breakfast of a fruit bowl with 2 bread. I loved the bed, bathroom and view from my room on the 2nd floor. It’s about a 10 minutes walk to the beach, too.
