The room is tucked at the back of the property, so it was really peaceful and quiet, even with such a convenient location. The staff were lovely and sorted out everything I needed straight away, even at 9:30 pm. Little things like a kitchen, free filtered water, and strong A/C were handy too. Great stay.

This makes a good base for a longer visit to Canggu, especially if you want to keep costs down. It's right in the center, yet the back alley keeps nights very quiet. The staff are genuinely friendly and courteous, and having 24-hour security made me feel safe. The free Wi-Fi was fast and very good. The rooms are simply but modernly furnished. They looked clean at a glance, though I wouldn't inspect the bathroom or under the pillowcases too closely. Locking the room door takes some effort and a bit of knack. A regular lock would be a big improvement. There's a shared kitchen and fridge where guests can cook together. You may not need them, since there are plenty of inexpensive restaurants nearby. For the price, you get what you'd expect, and the location makes up for a lot.

We loved relaxing by the pool and the laid-back atmosphere. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and really clean, and it stayed quiet despite being so central. There are lots of good food options and the beach is under a 10-minute walk away. Thanks to the friendly team for making our stay so lovely!

I chose this property because Booking.com said payment would be handled online. As a tourist from abroad, my home bank only lets me pay online, not with cash or a physical card. But the manager insisted on cash, directly contradicting the listing. I offered several times to use a secure payment link through Wise, PayPal, or another service, and even sent step-by-step instructions. They wouldn't cooperate or try to help. The situation became much worse when the manager demanded to keep my passport. I refused, and he threatened to call the police. I was shocked by the aggression and lack of respect. I believe keeping my passport was illegal under Indonesian law and against international tourism standards. I had booked seven nights, but left after three, even though I had nowhere else to go at the time. I paid for those three nights in cash and kept the receipt, but left early for my safety and mental well-being. This was the worst experience I've had in Bali. I urge Booking.com to review the property's payment practices and traveler safety. The online information needs to match what happens in person, and nobody should have to go through this.
