The towels were another problem. I stayed four nights and was told I’d have to pay 50,000rp to change them. That makes no sense to me. Was I supposed to keep using a smelly towel? This villa isn’t cheap. The place itself felt very run down, with old furniture, gaps everywhere, and cheap materials. There didn’t seem to be anything to keep mosquitoes or other insects out. They came into the room, and last night a cockroach ended up in my child’s hair. I understand Bali has a lot of nature, but the owner or whoever runs it should at least prepare for the insects. I’m writing this while I’m still here, with one more night to go, and hoping nothing else happens. This is my first bad villa review in Bali, and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying here. I hope the owner renovates it, because everything feels old. The concept is poor too.

We watched Game of Thrones on the projector while relaxing in the jacuzzi, which was quite an experience. The place is in a great spot in Bali, and scooter rental is included in the package. We had a really nice stay. Highly recommended!

I live next door, and nearly every weekend groups of young people book this place to party. They get drunk, shout, and blast music late into the night, sometimes seeming too young to drink legally. Neighbors take turns yelling for them to quiet down, and usually end up calling the local authorities. Eventually the noise stops, but only after the whole neighborhood has been woken up. Then it happens again the following weekend with a completely different group. The owner or manager needs to tell guests about quiet hours. It’s terrible. I’ll post videos of these incidents as proof.
