The living room was comfortable day and night, with a high ceiling that kept it from feeling stuffy. Since it opens out, the staff had thoughtfully left mosquito spray. Kawung Villa was clean and smelled nice when we arrived, and the booking photos matched what we found. A few problems made the stay less comfortable. The master bedroom door could be opened from inside but not from outside, and we spent hours trying to get in when we were exhausted. Staff weren't on standby and responded slowly. Later, I got stuck in the master bathroom late at night because its lock jammed. Waiting for my husband to get it open felt unsettling, especially with the bathroom's open layout. The master bedroom AC barely cooled, so I slept without a blanket. It looked old and leaked, while the AC in the other bedroom was newer and much colder. On checkout morning, the water pressure suddenly dropped to a trickle. We couldn't shower, and the toilet spray and flush were weak too, unlike the day before, so we showered at our next accommodation. Better maintenance and quicker staff responses would make this villa much more comfortable.

The villa looked lovely, and the bedding was very clean. Yogi was kind, replied quickly, and let me have flexible check-in and check-out times at no extra charge. The place wasn't quite ready when we arrived, but he and the staff let me stay while they finished, which I understood. Finding the right villa at check-in was confusing until a helpful neighbor showed us. The water sometimes stopped, though we were told the tank just needed a few minutes to refill. The bathrooms worked once water was available, but weren't especially pristine since they're partly outdoors. The upstairs bathroom had no doors, and could have used more toilet paper, hand towels, and soap. AC was inconsistent, and the upstairs room got warm. Yogi also asked if he could return later to take a photo with us, and we politely declined. He later sent around seven separate messages asking for a review. We appreciated his help, but would've liked more privacy.

Fresh plants all around, and the place was spotless. The staff member Febri was really friendly and helpful. The facilities are complete and convenient if you're heading to popular spots in Canggu. Nicest villa I've visited.

It's peaceful here, and the location makes getting around easy. The villa was comfortable, clean, and well cared for. I'd happily recommend it.

Kawung Villa was lovely, and the location is really convenient. The staff were great, too. Kak Yogi replied so quickly whenever we needed something, which made the stay even better.
