The three cats are friendly, and the hostel has a really laid-back feel. Breakfast can be omelette or pancakes if it was included with your booking. The staff were friendly too, and the location is handy for the beach, about 12 minutes away at most, with shops and restaurants along the way. There are also clubs, bars, and places to eat by the beach. There were some things that kept this from being five stars for me. It felt a little pricey compared with similar places nearby. Our private room had a bed, two bedside tables, and a wardrobe with locks. The AC was especially noisy, louder than at the four other places I’d stayed in Asia over a couple of weeks. The shower was small and had a slightly moldy curtain, though those things didn’t bother us too much. I also saw a couple try to buy a drink advertised on the fridge, but as far as I could tell those drinks hadn’t been stocked for at least three days. One bigger location downside: the hostel is directly across from a school, so expect kids shouting early in the morning. Still, it’s a good place with friendly staff and cats.

The owner does what he can to make sure the hostel is comfortable for guests and kept to a good standard, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast has good choices, and the rooms feel luxurious, with wardrobe lockers and clothes hangers. The pets are adorable too. It’s a very relaxed place in a central part of Canggu, with plenty of good cafes you can walk to. I loved it.

I’ve stayed here three times now and have only good things to say. The place seems to attract the right people, and Ali deserves special thanks for making it what it is. The location in Canggu is great, the rooms are nice and clean, and breakfast is simple but really good. One of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in.

Ali is a great owner and made me feel at home. The place has a quiet, low-key atmosphere, with a clean pool, lovely bathroom, and really nice rooms. The staff are relaxed and friendly. Thanks for a great stay!
