Villa Komea

The staff made our stay feel special from the start. For my husband’s birthday, I asked about decorating the room, and they went beyond what I expected. They brought a beautifully made, delicious cake, plus fruit and refreshing drinks, and sang him a heartfelt birthday song. The villa itself was a lovely place to relax, with a large private pool, a cozy sitting area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a semi-open bathroom surrounded by greenery. Their thoughtfulness made it unforgettable.

We felt so welcome here, almost as if we were the only guests. The staff took such good care of us and really went out of their way. Thanks so much to all of them 🙏 We’ll be back, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

The team were so friendly and helpful that the place quickly felt welcoming, almost like home. The villas are roomy, too. The lighting is pretty dim, though, and the mosquitoes are a bit out of control. Also, you’d better be okay with animals, like our pet monitor lizard “Gustavo”.

Rai, the manager, deserves a mention. He always checked in and seemed concerned about how we were doing, which was really nice. We stayed for two weeks and were happy with the overall experience: the rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed regularly. There’s a market across the road, with several restaurants and another market just a 2-3 minute walk away. By bike, popular streets with lots of cafes take around 8 to 15 minutes, and there’s a nearby beach for lovely evening sunsets. The villa was too dark, even during the day. After rain, water appeared in the bathroom during our first two days, but staff fixed it right away. The roof also dripped. They tried to repair it, but it started happening again a couple of days later.
