Katja and Ivan are such kind, sweet and caring owners. They make guests feel at home as soon as they arrive, and that’s a big part of what I loved about staying here. Kayu is clean and beautiful, with a calm, serene feel right in the middle of everything you need in gorgeous Seseh/Cemagi. The location is perfect. I can’t recommend it enough!

I was only visiting because my friend is staying there, but I really liked the place. It looked tidy, and the room was in very good condition, with no old smell or anything unpleasant. It felt welcoming and comfy.

Kayu Bali was the highlight of our three week trip around Bali. The romantic, authentic decor comes with all the modern comforts, and we loved the beds, garden and refreshing pool. Ivan took us surfing twice, which was awesome, and we rented motorbikes through them to explore the island. The host and hostess looked after us like friends, gave us lots of tips, and made the whole stay special. We’re definitely coming back when we visit Bali again!

The cottages are really cute and very clean, and the host was friendly and helpful. I loved the location, about a 20min walk to the beach or a 10min drive to Canggu through rice fields and back alleys. Really lovely place to stay, I’d recommend it :)

A quiet spot that worked just right for a romantic getaway, still close to the main Canggu scene. The garden and pool are beautiful, and the authentic Indonesian wooden houses are so comfortable. Loved it.
