The room was bright, the AC was cold, and the bed was clean. It’s about a six-minute walk to Bintang supermarket. The floor felt a bit greasy, but overall the stay was good.

Plawa road was under construction, so we had quite a lot of walking to do. The location is otherwise okay, and the room was basic but fine for a short stay.

For a short stay and the price, it was still a decent place, with steady wifi and shops on nearby streets. Cleanliness could be better: there were ants on the floor, a visible mark on the bedsheet, and a small fridge that looked neglected. They only took cash. It wasn’t too expensive, but I wish the place were cleaner overall.

The place was lovely and clean, on a quiet street within walking distance of the beach. The sheets and towels were beautifully white. But there wasn’t even a glass in the bathroom. Staff were nowhere to be found: I spent half an hour looking for someone to show me to my room. I’d been told I could get hot water downstairs in the morning to make coffee, but nobody was around then either, so plan for that inconvenience. I understand the homestay was almost empty at the time, but they could at least leave the reception employee’s WhatsApp number for when they’re hidden somewhere.
