Blue Bamboo Villas

The garden worked really well for our fairly calm birthday party, and the team coordinated smoothly with our caterer and event manager. A couple of small hiccups came up, but the villa manager handled them quickly and pleasantly. We booked Blue Bamboo for three nights for my 60th birthday in May 2023, and the accommodation was first class. The staff were helpful from the start and made sure the event went well. The villa is huge, well kept, and tastefully furnished, in a pleasant village about ten minutes from the main Cangguu tourist area. We had a lovely stay and would come back now that we know the place.

The staff made my birthday celebration better than I expected, and breakfast was fantastic, especially the omelet cooked by the chef. The compound is much larger than the photos suggest, with a layout and architecture that feel carefully planned for comfort. The decor is tasteful, and it has all the tech equipment you could think of. This is easily the best villa I’ve stayed in. I’d gladly return, even though part of me would like to keep it a secret.

The large pool looks out over the rice fields, and the bathroom is spacious and lovely. There are lots of rooms, so it works really well for a family holiday. The villa itself is beautiful and comfortable.

Mathew has always been a wonderful friend and support to me, and his staff have been the same. We’re in the same location, though our places are quite different, and sometimes we even share guests. Even as competing hotels, we work together because having that camaraderie and support really matters. This place is stunning.
