The people were really good, friendly, and helpful. It felt like home.

The room was spacious, and getting to the beach is possible, though it’s a bit of a walk because the place isn’t right on the beach. The AC in my room couldn’t be turned off. There was no lock on the shared bathroom, which also wasn’t very clean. The room had no key either, and the only way to lock it was with the slot key. The staff were friendly. I don’t mind the lack of comfort and cleanliness if I just need somewhere to sleep for the night, but I understand it could bother some people.

The room was pitch black, even with the two tiny living-room lamps on and the two little bedroom windows open, so it was hard to see how bad things were. There was no trash bin, though luckily we found a plastic bag under the old sofa in the living room of our family suite and used that for our rubbish. The room was painfully noisy. Traffic from the street below came straight through the thin bamboo walls, and there wasn’t a second of peace. The bathroom door was broken, and although the hotel manager promised to fix it ASAP, he didn’t even bring the cloth he said he’d provide to cover the gap. Inside, the bidet and washbasin pipe were also broken. Cleanliness was basically nonexistent. The beds had sand on them, and the floor was messy, sandy, and sticky in places. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND RUIN YOUR HOLIDAY BY STAYING THERE!

We booked one standard room and one deluxe room through Traveloka for a night, but when we arrived, staff said the standard room was still being renovated. They told us we had to move to a deluxe room and pay extra. We were already tired, so we agreed. Then we waited almost 3 hours for the extra bed we requested. The TV and wifi didn’t work, and one room had a leak. In the morning, no staff were around when we asked for hot water, so we had to wait again. We didn’t know who to complain to. The staff seemed not to care and didn’t even apologize for the poor service. It was a very unpleasant stay, and I won’t return or recommend the place. Better to spend more for better service.
