Holiday Inn Cikarang Jababeka by IHG

The room was decorated romantically and beautifully for our special occasion, which made the short getaway feel memorable and like home. We had a delightful stay and dining experience. Thanks to Chef Budi, Pak Rai, and Kak Shelly from F&B, as well as Mas Anugerah and Mba Nadia at the Front Office and Arla, Mukolo, and Adel from Housekeeping. We’ll definitely return, hopefully more often and with family.

The staff were impressive from start to finish, from the door keeper and front receptionists to the drivers and servers. Everyone was kind, helpful, and service minded, which I really appreciated. I was here on a business trip and ended up with the last available room, a smoking one, but the device in the room filtered and perfumed the air, so the smell wasn’t a problem. The room was good, and I was happy with the mattress and linen. Breakfast had plenty of styles to choose from and was okay, though the pastries weren’t, and I noticed some plates could have been wiped better. I tried the garden BBQ one evening. It was so-so for quality and taste, but still a good bargain and a sensible option for eating on site. I’ll try their Japanese restaurant next time.

Dinner service at the lobby western restaurant was very slow. The lobby and restaurants have nice decor, and there’s a beautiful garden and a large swimming pool in the middle of the hotel. It feels very chill for a summer holiday, with a nice lobby and good service.

The Japanese steam bath jacuzzi was the standout attraction for me, and the gym is good too. We found the room spacious and comfortable, with no complaints, and the green surroundings made this a peaceful place to relax or spend time with family. Kids of every age can enjoy it. Service was amazing: requests were handled right away, including lunch and dinner, coffee breaks, and room setup. Chef mr Budi also served tummy pani puris, so a big thanks to him. Breakfast had a wide range of dishes from around the world, and they arranged good vegetarian food. All our needs were taken seriously. We were very happy with the food and service and would surely come back regularly. Holiday Inn cikarang is a world class hotel in Cikarang, the industrial city around 40kms from Jakarta, with a strong Japanese influence.
