High Livin Apartment Baros

We needed somewhere for one night while attending a wedding, and this High Livin Apartment (THE EDGE) didn't live up to its name. The rooms and building were dated and dirty, more like a slump. The AC barely worked, and the TV needed two remotes with no instructions, so I had to call someone for help. There were hardly any outlets. To use the water heater on the kitchen counter, I had to unplug the TV, and then I could only charge one phone. The furniture was very old, as the photo shows. The bathroom was dirty and moldy, and the showerhead leaked, though there was water. The bed was old and uncomfortably springy, the sheets had cigarette burn marks, and the windows were filthy. I won't stay here again.

A decent option if you're on a low budget.

I booked five days through agoda and regretted it as soon as I walked in. The room was damp, shabby, musty, and nothing like the photos. Only one light worked, and the AC was really noisy. I asked for a refund on the first day, right after entering, but they wouldn't give one. I was on the 16th floor and there were lots of cockroaches 😖. I asked the apartment to move me to another unit, but got no reply, even though I'd paid in full and wasn't using credit. In the end I had to rent somewhere else just so I could sleep 😡. The security guard in lobby b was unfriendly and very curt. I'm never staying somewhere like this again, and I really regret booking five days. If you're thinking of staying here, be careful and don't trust the photos, or you might regret it too.
