The room was pleasant, with the ocean view we were promised, and the staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. We could also see a restaurant, convenience store, library, and a small boutique playground for children from the lobby. Room service was acceptable, with reasonable food and wait times. We skipped breakfast because we were at the beach in the morning and missed the hours, but lunch at the restaurant was satisfactory. Getting to this beautiful geopark takes a long time, so we arrived with high expectations. The internet was one disappointment. Cellular service is understandably limited in such a secluded place, but Wi-Fi matters here. It worked fairly well off-peak, then was almost unusable between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. We suspect the capacity couldn't keep up with high occupancy, something professional management should have anticipated. We had asked in advance to have the twin beds joined into a double, since I was staying with my parents and sister and the twin setup was too small. Staff said they couldn't do it. I offered to pay for an extra bed, but was told none were available, with no explanation about whether they had run out or never offered them. I assumed they were unavailable because the hotel was busy. In the end, we pushed the beds together ourselves without damaging anything, so it wasn't clear why staff couldn't have done it. The open-air infinity pool was lovely, and guests and families were enjoying the breeze and the view. With its strong visual appeal, especially on social media, high occupancy in peak season seems predictable. Still, when we asked for pool towels, we were told supplies were very limited. Even regular room towels weren't available at the time, and some guests had to go back to their rooms in wet clothes. That was unpleasant and raised questions about how it had happened. Laska Hotel needs to improve its operations and upgrade some infrastructure if it wants to meet expectations and encourage return visits. The long journey and social media hype set a high bar. Without service and operations to match, the stay can fall short of what this destination deserves.

The rooms were clean and had lovely ocean views, and the staff made us feel welcome with great service. Breakfast was 9/10, and I'd also recommend the hotel's Saturday night BBQ buffet. Laska Hotel Ciletuh is a beautiful spot in Pelabuhan ratu for a weekend away, with gorgeous scenery overlooking the ocean. Getting there takes some planning: the route has a few bridges that may be under repair, along with steep hills, so check the way beforehand. It would've been nice if the hotel offered activity packages for exploring the beautiful Unesco Ciletuh Geopark.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Dinner is available at the hotel restaurant, with two choices: all you can eat or ala carte. The area outside gets very quiet at night, so you won't find dinner elsewhere nearby. The scenery here is amazing. Every room has a balcony facing the ocean, and there's an infinity pool with the same view. If the weather cooperates, you can watch the sunset from your room or the pool. The drive in is extreme, with some narrow roads and steep elevation changes. The scenery along the way is beautiful, but take care and make sure your vehicle is in good condition.

We booked the romantic dinner for a special celebration, and the food was outstanding. Every dish felt carefully made, rich, and premium, just right for fine dining. Mas Renaldi gave us attentive, impeccable service throughout the meal, which made the night unforgettable. Mbak Tiara also made check-in and the rest of our stay easy, and went out of her way to make sure our child was comfortable and enjoying the hotel. The service throughout the property was commendable. Our only small issue was the longer wait for service at the restaurant. It was a busy peak hour, so understandable, though smoother service flow then would make the meal even better. This was a very memorable stay, and we'd recommend the property for a special occasion.

We arrived late after a long day exploring Sukabumi, but the staff greeted us with smiles and were ready to help. The junior suite was just what we expected, clean, bright, and roomy. Room service was five-star quality, with warm, tasty food the kids loved. Kak Putri made breakfast go smoothly and made the experience even better. Thank you Laska!
