We had to leave the villa at 3 am and find another hotel because insects were everywhere, including in the bed and pillows. I know tropical places from living in Colombia, but this seemed like a pest problem caused by poor maintenance, and we couldn’t stay a single night. They kept our money. They said they’d refund us, then stopped answering our calls and messages. The villa’s condition and the service were both unacceptable, and I found the way they handled it dishonest. There are plenty of better places in Bali. I wouldn’t choose this one.

We felt scammed. The manager wouldn’t refund us even though we left without staying a night, and the pictures looked nothing like the place we arrived at. It was expensive, too. The room wasn’t clean, with huge black ants on the bed, and the bathroom had such a bad moldy smell that it was hard to breathe in there.

A lovely place to unwind as a couple, whether for a honeymoon or just to get away from city life. It’s quiet, though stylish cafes and bistros aren’t far away. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and happy to share local tips, including about beach clubs and hidden beaches. There are also good-value pampering options like manicures, pedicures, and full-body massages if you want to stay in the villa. I’d happily spend time here whenever I’m back in Bali 👍

We really enjoyed our stay at the Askara one bedroom villa. The bedroom is large and has a comfortable bed, and the private pool and outdoor dining area were great for enjoying the Bali weather. Inside, there are sofas, a TV, and sound systems, plus a walk-in wardrobe and a lovely outdoor shower.

A big villa with good privacy, and a fun place to stay in. The staff were very friendly, especially Taufig. They can spray insect repellent if you ask.
