Bayshore Villa Sanur

My husband and I spent 10 days and 9 nights at Bayshore Villa’s in Candida, and waking up to the ocean from our two-bedroom villa with a private pool felt like a dream. The daily breakfast was included, with plenty of choices and a special each day. I especially loved the omelette with bacon, grilled tomato, and tea, plus the fresh fruit. There was something for every taste. Bayshore Villa’s has a gorgeous boutique style, with blues, white, and timber that made it the nicest hotel decor I've seen. It's not a big chain, and Brad's place has a special feel. The amenities were excellent too. The free internet was fast and reliable, and housekeeping left the room immaculate each day without intruding. The restaurant staff were attentive and professional, seating me quickly in the morning and offering tea or coffee even when I was barely awake. The front desk was always available and willing to help with any unusual request. The staff and the hotel's looks and service made this my best Bali trip. Hi Brad, team, and Jerro, I've made the long trip from South Africa to Bayshore Villa three times now. Brad runs the place so smoothly, and the staff, especially JERRO, are attentive, kind, and friendly. You really feel like part of the family. The gardens feel like the Garden of Eden, with a sea view, and happy hour in the infinity pool with a cocktail is hard to beat. We highly recommend Bayshore Villa and don't think you'll be disappointed. Brad, you should come visit SA sometime. We'll show you a great steak. Enjoy the new car! We loved our week here and plan to come back. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom villa was good value and handily located, with a pool, garden, and well-equipped kitchen. Our housekeeper Blacktee was efficient, always cheerful, and made fantastic nasi goreng. The power can shut off if you're using a lot while boiling the kettle, but it's easy to flip the switch and get it going again. The entry gate is a little worn, and one roller is bent, so it takes some force to open and close.

The pool was difficult for my friend and me to get out of, as we're both in our 70s. The ladder was too high, and getting out at the other end wasn't possible without help. The uneven levels around the pool were also tricky for older people. Even so, I gave the stay five stars for excellence. We absolutely loved our five days at Bayshore Villa Sanur last Easter. The villa was spacious and the air conditioning kept it lovely and cool. Our house boy, whom we called Mr B because we couldn't pronounce his name, made us great breakfast every morning and kept the place very clean. He also went above and beyond when we realized late one day that we didn't have a key. The villa is very secure, so we couldn't get in ourselves. Luckily he'd left his phone number on a note at the front gate, and he came to let us in shortly after we called. That was really commendable.
